OUSD, Army Leadership Speakers Announced for Tri-Service Open Architecture Technical Interchange In-Person Meeting on March 15

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. - Feb. 1, 2022 - PRLog -- The highly-anticipated Tri-Service Open Architecture Interoperability Demonstration (TSOA-ID) TIM and Expo on March 15, 2022 being held at the Solomons Inn and Marina, announces special guest speakers that will be providing unique Open Architecture (OA)/Open Standards (OS) perspectives:

Ms. Stephanie Possehl, Acting Deputy Director for Engineering and Director of Engineering Policy and Systems within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering

Mr. David Tremper, Director for Electronic Warfare - Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment

Major General Robert M. Collins, U.S. Army - Program Executive Officer for Command, Control, Communications-Tactical

Brigadier General Robert L. Barrie, Jr., U.S. Army - Program Executive Officer, Aviation

MG Collins – to lead an interactive Panel on "Implementing C5ISR (CMOSS) Open Standards" - will be joined by U.S. Army's Program Manager Mission Command, the Combat Capabilities Development Command's C5ISR Center and Network-Cross Functional Team. These offices are managing the program and standards implementation of CMOSS chassis and associated application cards for the Army's ground vehicle platforms.

In addition to these distinguished speakers, the TSOA-ID Expo areas will feature live demonstrations from Navy, Army and Air Force specialized OA teams, alongside leading companies such as: Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, Mercury Systems, The Boeing Company, L3 Harris, Lockheed Martin and more. Each will spotlight their latest OA/OS and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) products.

Themed 'Open Standards – Bringing It All Together', the event will be held at the Solomons Inn and Marina (formerly known as a Holiday Inn) in Solomons, Maryland near the U.S. Naval Air Station at Patuxent River. TSOA-ID is designed to provide valuable engagement opportunities for decision-authorities, experts and influencers in Government, Department of Defense, Industry, and Academia.
