Viewpoint: Boston has an opportunity to lead in equity for all

The business community supports Mayor Wu’s appointment of Segun Idowu as chief of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion. To advance the mayor’s bold promises and ensure that Boston remains competitive nationally and globally, Idowu must prioritize revitalizing our Main Streets and downtowns, supporting a vibrant entrepreneurial economy, particularly diverse entrepreneurs, and equitable city contracting to urgently support businesses impacted by the twin pandemics of Covid-19 and economic devastation.
