Chipotle stock heads toward record high after earnings show sales jumped nearly 40%

Helped by ongoing strength in digital orders and "strong recovery" of in-restaurant sales, Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. on Tuesday reported that its revenue rose by nearly 40% in the second quarter.
