Haltom United Business Alliance (HUBA) Hires Third Party to Study Results of Haltom City's Efforts to Attract New Businesses

Local businesspeople seek patterns in the data that might help them work with city to get more business to come to South and Central Haltom City

HALTOM CITY, TX, June 15, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Haltom City has had a variety of new businesses open in the last several years. Those success stories, along with notices of projects still in progress, are chronicled on the pages of the city's website devoted to economic development.

"Haltom United Business Alliance is very interested in finding ways to help Haltom City attract more small businesses, especially new businesses willing to locate in the parts of South and Central Haltom City that have a large number of vacant commercial properties," said HUBA Executive Director Andrew Weakley.

As part of that effort, HUBA has hired a third party to analyze the data in the city's April 2021 Economic Development Update to see if any patterns emerge from the data.

"We are very interested in the kinds of businesses that have opened in Haltom City and in looking at those success stories to see what we can learn," said Weakley.

Weakley is hopeful that the analysis will also reveal insights that will help Haltom's City Manager, the Haltom City Council members and the other stakeholders from the business community interested in attracting more small businesses to Haltom City.
