American Water’s Homeowner Services division announces $25,000 in donations to two Illinois organizations on behalf of the American Water Charitable Foundation’s community-focused COVID-19 Response Fund. TriCity Family Services and the United Way of Metro Chicago—Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund, will each receive $12,500 to support the critical needs of communities most impacted by the pandemic.

TriCity Family Services is a human service agency serving community members and organizations of Central Kane County. The agency is dedicated to strengthening people and building community by delivering quality, affordable counseling, youth crisis intervention, prevention, and early intervention services that promote sound mental health and effective family functioning.
United Way of Metro Chicago serves the Chicago metropolitan area, including all of Cook and DuPage counties. The organization, in collaboration with the City of Chicago and The Chicago Community Trust recently launched the Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund to unite the funds raised by Chicago’s philanthropies, corporations and individuals to be disbursed to nonprofit organizations across the region and provide resources to community-based organizations.
