About Us
4 billion hours per week are spent by gamers competing online. But all this competitive passion and time is wasted on just entertainment.
We created Save The Seas with a goal to change this, by funnelling the passion and time spent by the players towards creating some positive world change by allowing the player to think of something real while being immersed in an imaginary world.This art expression in the game has an inherent and unique way to make the player think and quite possibly be a catalyst to change, action and share ideas as gamers are the new problem solvers of the world.
BIO
Not just Fun Softworks and Antara Apps BV joined forces in Amsterdam creating a new and dynamic company that gives gamers a purpose and awareness with a goal of changing the world for the good.
We started developing Save the Seas as an artistic expression of a real world problem (the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico), designed to create awareness of environmental problems through gameplay.

IN THE GULF OF MEXICO:
Little Sofia falls asleep and dreams. She collect the shells she loves, in a sea that is progressively becoming more and more dangerous and polluted with real environmental issues, like human overfishing and oil pollution.
''AND HOW DO I GET TO CARE ABOUT THE OCEAN?''
you might ask. Well, we have some little tricks in our bag:
-we have Little Sofia, a sweet girl who makes you think about responsibility and the action one can take, to protect the ones they love.
-while playing, you'll hear the sound of the seas and remember how wonderful the water looks under the moonlight, like on those holidays, ooh so long ago.
-you’ll play as a fish, a shark or a whale, and you’ll learn to hide from the fish boats with their huge nets, or the fast speed boats, and stay away of all that deadly oil.
- lots of wonderfully emotive music.
- Along the way, you’ll learn amazing ocean facts so when you finish, after all this effort, you’ll carry some knowledge with you to the real world, and who knows what you can do with it?

Like in the old action arcade classics, SaveTheSeas is all about the simple intuitive mechanics that build progressively to great complexity and challenge in skill.

-use those shells to buy temporary power ups to help you. Combine them and create your own favourite gameplay style.
-Travel through various real world locations around the Gulf of Mexico
