SelectHealth Wins “Best of State” Award

SelectHealth is the winner of the 2013 Best of State® award in the Insurance category.

Each year, Best of State seeks to recognize the people, organizations, and businesses that are achieving, innovating, and improving the quality of life in Utah. Judging criteria is specifically designed to consider factors that don’t necessarily show up on the income statement—excellence, innovation/creativity, and contribution to quality of life in Utah.

“It is a tremendous honor to receive this award and to be recognized for our commitment to the community,” says Patricia Richards, SelectHealth president and CEO. “The credit goes to each of our outstanding employees, who strive to provide superior service every day.”

SelectHealth was recognized for its member satisfaction, quality of care, and convenient online tools. SelectHealth was also acknowledged for its efforts in the community, including STEP Express, its free fitness program for fourth graders, and Select 25, a program that rewards nonprofits for improving the health of those they serve.
