Stansbury Park, Utah, March 6, 2024— Families First Pediatrics, a trusted name in pediatrics since 2001, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest medical clinic in Stansbury Park. This addition marks the fifth full-service pediatric clinic in the region and the first of its kind in Tooele County.
“We started this model when we saw the gaps in children’s health,” said founding partner, Dr. Toby Cox. “Parents are busier than ever. So, to ensure kids get everything they need, we redesigned the clinical experience for modern families.”
Unlike a traditional single-specialty pediatric clinic, the new Stansbury Park pediatrics office employs a team of complementary pediatric specialists, including pediatricians, pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and soon-mental health therapists.
Speaking more about their care model, Dr. Steve Rich added, “Our team working together for each patient is a big deal for parents. Suddenly there’s less back-and-forth, less running around, and just a lot simpler path to getting the help their child needs.”
Among the key features of the new Stansbury Park facility are:
- On-Site IBCLC Certified Lactation Consultants: Support for new parents in their breastfeeding journey, at pediatric appointments or stand-alone visits.
- In-House Medication Dispensing: Convenient access to prescribed medications right at the clinic, making it easier for parents to help sick kids feel better, faster.
- X-ray Capabilities: On-site X-ray equipment makes diagnosing or ruling out several conditions fast and easy, with less hassle.
- A unified care team comprised of licensed, certified pediatric specialists.
