Always Your Bakery Cafe located in Castro Valley, celebrates their 1-Year Anniversary this upcoming December, after overcoming multiple obstacles including a worldwide health crisis.

Castro Valley, CA, December 1, 2022— On Saturday, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th from 11 am-8 pm, Always Yours Bakery Cafe (www.AlwaysYoursBakeryCafe.com), a local Bay Area bakery and café, will be celebrating its 1-year Anniversary, an important milestone for any business.
Always Yours Bakery Cafe, located at 20634 Rustic Drive, Castro Valley, CA 94546, opened its doors in late 2021. Owner Natalie Wong started out back in 2013 originally as “Macarons by Natalie” where Natalie sold her macaron creations for $1 each at school. Starting with 8-10 flavors, her business grew quickly. In 2018, Macarons by Natalie did 3 pop-up markets to growing acclaim, but it was in late 2019 after the Foodie Land Night Market in Berkeley, where she sold her entire stock of 2,000 macarons on the very first day, that she knew it was time to become a full-time baker.
She always had a passion for baking and once she tried making French macarons, she found her niche. Natalie’s passion fueled her to try new designs and flavors and her dessert creations helped her grow her business. But when the health crisis hit, she couldn’t help but wonder if she was making a mistake baking full-time. The outlook was not encouraging for businesses all over the world, and the San Francisco Bay Area was not the exception. Her orders were being canceled and Natalie came to a crossroads regarding whether she should continue following her dreams. However, like a true baker, she got back in the kitchen to create other mouthwatering desserts and kept her dream alive.
Natalie opened the Always Yours Bakery Cafe in late 2021, amidst the health crisis, after raising over $93,000 through a Kickstarter campaign with the simple belief that through all our differences, everyone can come together over joyful, mouthwatering desserts. Now, with her very own Bay Area bakery and cafe, they are known for having a wide variety of macaron flavors and 6-8 character-macaron designs by Natalie herself.
Natalie and her team pride themselves on providing customers with a local spot to enjoy Asian-inspired desserts, cakes, macarons, boba milk teas, and more. Additionally, the success of Natalie’s bakery and café helped them grow to offer more services such as custom macaron orders, custom cake orders, custom dessert orders, catering, and more for special events and other businesses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. No matter if the event is a wedding or bridal shower, graduation, birthday celebration, corporate event, local community event, or any other private event, Natalie and her team help make the event extra special and unique.
One year later, surviving through a worldwide health crisis, the doors to Always Yours Bakery Cafe are still welcoming guests and bringing together the Bay Area community around the most delicious macarons, desserts, cakes, and boba milk teas, aiming to make everyone’s day a bit sweeter. They have grown to become more than just a bakery, but also a hub of inspiration and creativity. As Natalie stated, My passion for baking helped me overcome all obstacles and made me even more determined to make owning my own bakery a reality. Always Yours Bakery Café is proof of my hard work and determination. I now get to do what I love and serve my most delicious desserts made with the highest quality ingredients, love, and care to my community.
