By: NewsUSA

(Beni Ancheta, NewsUSA Reporter) - With all the issues in the rental industry in California lately, every tenant and landlord must equip themselves with the basics of the Landlord-Tenant laws. The LA Law Library actively offers guidance to its patrons; hence, they invite everyone to a Free Live Zoom Class, Landlord-Tenant: Where You Begin - on March 22, 2024, from 12-1:30 pm PDT.

Developed by practicing attorneys and presented by LA Law Library Reference Librarians, the class aims to educate landlords and tenants in California about their necessary rights and obligations and the available resources they can get to help them avoid legal issues or face their rent issues with ease and confidence.

Attendees can expect discussions important to Landlord-Tenant relationships, such as non-discrimination in property rental, repairs responsibilities, security deposit concerns, negotiations, and settlements, eviction process and court proceedings, and resources for help.

Furthermore, attendees can earn Court Interpreter Minimum Continuing Education (CIMCE) credit upon completion of the class.
