The committee of the SCA have refurbished the facility over the past few years. The room is now fitted with high-speed fibre broadband, a projector with an interactive smartboard screen, a sound system, a compact, refitted kitchen featuring a serving hatch, and flexible seating and tables.
Those organising business meetings, educational workshops, or virtual events can benefit from reliable internet access, a smartboard screen, and a projector for online presentations, video conferencing, and streaming.
The venue’s kitchen and serving hatch provide convenient catering and service for events with refreshments or meals. Its flexible seating and tables can accommodate a wide range of events, from formal business meetings to casual family gatherings or community events that require adaptable setups for various activities and group sizes.
Available nearly all year round, the centre frequently hosts adult learning sessions and ongoing professional development for first aiders, caregivers, and council consultations.
