Charles Pallaghy is a retired Australian academic with a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in biophysics. In 1976, he had a life-altering encounter with faith, and he became engrossed in the Word of God. He now shares his insights to help others prepare for the end times. The Scriptures emphasize that the onus for the bride to be prepared lies at everyones feet through the help of the Holy Spirit. The parable of the ten virgins, amongst others, deserves close reading. What was it that the five wise couldn’t give away? All the prior preparations they had done!
His 2023 book cuts through the veil of symbolism, unraveling the prophecies and end-time events to offer clear insights into God’s divine plan for humanity. Much of the previous knowledge on end-times has been neglected by the church in recent decades. The younger generations have been missing out.
Topics of neglect include the central figure of the woman in Revelation chapter 12. When Jesus (the Jewish Yeshua Hamachiach) appeared to the apostle John, who was in exile on the island of Patmos, Jesus came with the words “Write the things which you have seen and the things which are, and the things which must be after these” (Revelation 1:19, KJV).
Jesus first tackled the things that are; how the 7 churches had fallen into decline (chapters 2-3) and what John must do about it. Next, Jesus tackled the things which must follow hereafter (Revelation 4:1). Therefore, everything that follows chapter 3 is meant for the future. Thus, the appearance of the symbolic woman, shining with the glory of the Sun in Revelation 12:1, depicts a future event.
Christians have been deceived to believe that she represents Mary labouring to bring forth baby Jesus. Why would the risen Lord want to be born again? Certainly not. She is a symbolic representation of the glorified bride of Christ labouring to bring forth offspring to the glory of God near the end of time. Her ‘man-child’, also a multiple, is immediately caught up into heavenly places which is the common privilege of any born-again believer. As people ponder about the frightening catastrophes that lie ahead in the end times, they need to recall that the Lord is a God of patterns. Just as in the days of Moses, the Hebrews only suffered the first three plagues along with the Egyptians.
Exodus 34:18-23 links the strict command of first fruits together with the Creation and the three compulsory Feasts of Israel. These three themes of God are inextricably linked – i.e. impossible to tease apart, as the reader will find throughout.
