Melbourne, Australia - May 27, 2025 - Australian dancer and choreographer Briana ‘Brie’ Cohen continues to make a strong impression on the international stage as she expands her creative footprint across the United States. Known for her distinctive blend of technical precision and emotive expression, Cohen brings over a decade of professional experience to a growing portfolio of international work that includes high-profile dance performances, choreography, and dance education.
Cohen performed as the lead dancer for Behani’s performance with Ne-Yo during the Juicy Fest tour, and later served as assistant choreographer for Behani’s set as the opening act on Ne-Yo’s Champagne & Roses tour in Australia. These collaborations build on a growing body of work that highlights her versatility and stage presence, including teaching engagements at some of LA’s leading dance studios, Millennium Dance Complex and Movement Lifestyle.
Cohen’s broader dance career spans music, film, and commercial work. She has appeared in Supplies, a music video by global pop icon Justin Timberlake; Animal by the critically acclaimed artist Aurora; and was featured in Betterman, the Robbie Williams biopic. Her performance credits also include collaborations with artists across pop, R&B, and electronic genres, reflecting her versatility and range as a dancer.
“I’m looking forward to continuing my work in the US, especially after having lived there and experienced the incredible energy of the dance scene,” said Cohen. “I’m excited to grow that connection, to keep evolving as an artist, and to contribute to projects that challenge and inspire me. My work has always been about creating with intention, and I’m looking forward to bringing that mindset into future collaborations.”
In Australia, Cohen leads Move X Free, a dance program that supports dancers in developing commercial skills while fostering personal growth. The program blends structured technique with mindfulness-based practices, helping dancers cultivate both their craft and their confidence. Through private coaching and group workshops in dance education, Cohen supports emerging performers in finding their voice. She’s looking ahead to sharing her work more widely with the dance community.
Her expansion into the American dance scene reflects not a departure from her roots, but an evolution of the work she began in Australia. As she builds her international presence in the US, Cohen remains focused on developing her work as a dancer and artist. She continues to explore new opportunities for creative collaboration and engagement while forming connections within the broader global dance community.
