The Financial Communications Society (FCS) proudly announces the opening of the FCS Portfolio Awards, now in its fourth decade. Financial institutions and industry participants are welcome to submit their best work from 2024 on the dedicated award portal, which is now open.
Last year, FCS celebrated 30 years of this legendary awards competition, recognizing the best in financial marketing, communications, and media. As always, Portfolio celebrates the most creative, strategic, and impactful campaigns across diverse financial sectors, recognizing exceptional contributions from brands of all sizes—from global powerhouses to regional players to community standouts. Last year’s winners numbered over 100 marketers, spanning the industry, from State Street Global Advisors, MassMutual and Mizuho Americas to Hightower Advisors, Grayscale and Laurel Road.
“For the past 30 years, the FCS Portfolio Awards has stood out as the most prestigious competition in the industry,” said Kevin Windorf, CEO of FCS. “A Portfolio Gold is a highly coveted trophy, and the FCS is proud to recruit top-notch marketers to judge the hundreds of entries vying for recognition. Our Portfolio winners are all well-deserving brands whose marketing has truly achieved creative excellence.”
To honor their best marketing work from 2024, the FCS invites financial institutions as well as associations, agencies, and industry partners dedicated to financial services to enter Portfolio, where they will compete across B2B, Consumer, Corporate image, and Employee Communications. Within each group, participants are able to submit entries in the fields of:
- Advertising
- Branding
- Collateral
- Digital Media
- Events
- External Communications
- Integrated Marketing
- Media Strategy
- Public Relations
The judging panel, comprising dozens of esteemed industry leaders and marketing experts, will evaluate submissions based on strategic effectiveness and creative excellence in conveying complex financial messages targeting consumers, intermediaries, institutional clients, and employees.
The Call for Entries is now open and will close with a firm deadline of Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Finalists will be contacted the week of March 17, and the winners of the 31st Annual FCS Portfolio Awards will be announced at the FCS Portfolio Gala on May 1, 2025, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The black tie Gala is again expected to bring together over 550 financial marketing, communications, and media professionals for their biggest celebration of the year.
