Forge Health Named to The 2021 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Forge Health earned the rank of No. 202 on the 2021 Inc. 5000, with three-year revenue growth of 2,164 Percent

Inc. magazine today revealed that Forge Health (“Forge” or the “Company”), a leading tech-enabled provider of value-based mental health and substance use care, is No. 202 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“It's an honor to be named No. 202 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies,” said Eric Frieman, Co-Founder and CEO of Forge Health. “This is a testament to our team’s relentless commitment to our mission to provide the highest quality, affordable, and effective mental health and substance use care to individuals, families, and communities in need. We are humbled and will continue working tirelessly to challenge traditional industry thinking to increase access, lower costs, and improve quality.”

Formed in 2016, Forge Health has grown into a leading provider of outpatient behavioral health services. The health system includes more than nine outpatient facilities across seven states, a first-of-its-kind strategic partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and many innovative partnerships with health plans, health systems, and employers. In response to the COVID19 pandemic in 2020, the Company significantly enhanced its technology-enabled treatment capabilities to deliver the highest-quality care when and where clients need it – delivered virtually from the comfort, privacy, and convenience of clients’ homes or in-person at beautifully-designed, welcoming technology-enabled offices.

“The COVID19 pandemic created unprecedented challenges to our business, yet our team stepped out of their comfort zones and did what had to be done, when it had to be done, and as well as it could be done,” said Eric Golnick, Co-Founder of Forge Health and CEO of Forge VFR (Veterans and First Responders). “This honor is particularly special because the growth we achieved means that we were fortunate to be able to help more people in need – all with industry-leading clinical outcomes.”

Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”
