Ghana's CEO of the Decade is building Africa's largest technology hub that will house a free zone enclave for crypto miners.
ACCRA, GHANA / ACCESSWIRE / March 11, 2022 / Freedom Jacob Caesar is building a technology hub in Petronia City, which will house the first and biggest free zone enclave for international, continental, and local crypto miners to have access to data centers and power generators that will sustain the crypto industry of Africa. "I want to give crypto miners the opportunity and incentive to come to Africa and receive free-zone tax incentives. This migration will bring a change to both the African economy and the digital world," says the visionary industrialist.
According to the International Finance Corporation, "Africa has the lowest number of internet connections, with only 22% of the country having access." Without access to the basic tools required to compete in today's digital economy, Africa would be devoured by the technological revolution. To overstep this unavailability of fundamental elements to enter into the digital world, Freedom Jacob Caesar has started developing Petronia's technology hub in Takoradi. It is a self-sustaining, master-planned all-integrated city with manufacturing plants that will produce cell phones, laptops, computer software, and more. The production of these products will not only enable Africans to compete amongst themselves but in the global economy as well. The city will attract, retain and support businesses as well as human capital needs, transforming Ghana into a world business, tourism, and residential location.
Freedom's latest project, Freedom Coin, is closely connected to Petronia's tech hub. Freedom Coin, a native utility token, is a tool to aid in his larger vision of digitizing the African continent. When technology is applied, speed comes in. When speed comes in, the continent can move from its dark age into a future illuminated by the opportunities of wealth. Dubai-based ICICB Group, specialized in financial and investment offerings supports the project to place Africa into the future of digitization. The tech-giant Group has invested about US$ 100 million and acquired a 35% share in the highly anticipated project. The Group Company, in collaboration with Freedom, aims to connect Africa to the rest of the globe. According to ICICB, all technological advancements and developments would be implemented to ensure a seamless flow of business execution.
