About the authors:
Patrícia is a professor and researcher in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Gamification, holding a Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering. She greatly enjoys helping her students achieve academic success and sometimes even personal success.
A fervent reader of Mystery Novels, she also enjoys reading children's stories to her own children and other children in the family. She has always had the desire to write stories, having already written in her adolescence, in addition to short stories, a novel as a school project, and a small thriller. Inspired by playing with her youngest son, the idea to create a very cute character, a sea slug bunny, and write a collection of books based on that character arose.
In addition to wanting to show captivating scenarios and characters for children with something magical associated, she seeks to give them positive teachings through the books, based on current life problems.
Mariana works in the field of Industrial Quality Management, holding degrees in Microbiology and Quality Engineering. For several years she has been a volunteer at an association for sick children, with the mission of fulfilling their dreams. She has a passion for writing and has been writing poetry since her teenage years, even having a web page of her own. Her passion for writing and love for children have always been present in her life philosophy. Therefore, when she was challenged by Patrícia, a long-time friend, to write this collection of books, she dove headfirst into this adventure filled with magic and reality.
