Item 8.01. Other Events.

     On March 30, 2009, Superior Energy Services, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an employment agreement with Patrick J. Campbell. A copy of the employment agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit 10.1.

     On April 1, 2009, the Company issued a press release announcing the appointment of Mr. Campbell as Executive Vice President. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
