On April 8, 2011, Sterlite Industries (India) Limited (the “Company”) issued a production release announcing its production results for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 (the fourth quarter of its fiscal year ended March 31, 2011) and for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011. A copy of the production release dated April 8, 2011 is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
