Other Events
 
On June 30, 2010, NorthEast Community Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that on June 24, 2010 its subsidiary, NorthEast Community Bank (the “Bank”) entered into an agreement with Ponce De Leon Federal Bank (“Ponce De Leon”) under which the Bank will sell its branch office, located at 20-47 86th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11214, to Ponce De Leon.

The Company’s press release dated June 30, 2010, is attached to this Report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
