Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
     On May 6, 2009, Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), issued a press release to report the Company’s financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2009. The full text of the press release is attached to this current report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
     The information in this current report on Form 8-K shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”) or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933 or the Exchange Act, except as expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
Important Information About the Tender Offer
     This announcement and the description contained herein are for informational purposes only and are not an offer to purchase or a solicitation of an offer to sell securities of etrials Worldwide, Inc. (“etrials”). The tender offer by the Company to purchase all of the outstanding shares of etrials common stock has not yet been commenced.
