On October 23, 2006, Southwestern Energy Company issued two press releases providing an operational update (Exhibit 99.1) and announcing the Company's financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006 (Exhibit 99.2), respectively. A telephone conference call relating to the press releases will be held on October 24, 2006, as previously announced, and is broadly accessible to the public.
