On May 5, 2005
Genta Incorporated (“Genta”) issued a press release announcing that several
abstracts related to Genasense® (oblimersen sodium) Injection, the Company’s
lead anticancer compound, will be featured at the annual meeting of the American Society
of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Orlando, FL during May 13-17, 2005. The press release is
attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
