Item 2.02. | Results of Operations and Financial Condition |
On April 19, 2007, Capital One Financial Corporation furnished a Form 8-K Current Report that included a press release dated April 19, 2007, announcing the Companys financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. This Form 8-K/A is being filed to replace certain information included in the press release (Exhibit 99.1) and incorporated by reference into such Form 8-K Current Report. Specifically, this Form 8-K/A is being filed to replace the amounts reported for: (a) the Loan Held for Investment Yield; (b) Net Interest Margin Loans; and (c) Net Interest Margin Deposits within the Local Banking segment information included in such Form 8-K Current Report. The information included in that prior Form 8-K Current Report is not otherwise being amended. The corrections are as follows:
