China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (the “Company”) has made a preliminary estimate in conformity with the China Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises (CASBE) on the operating results of the Company for the first quarter of 2015. The net profit attributable to the equity holders of the Company for the first quarter of 2015 is expected to be RMB1.5 billion to RMB1.6 billion.

III. | REASONS FOR THE ESTIMATED PROFIT FOR THE CURRENT PERIOD |
During the first quarter of 2015, benefiting from the factors such as low international crude oil prices and continual adjustments in China’s economic structure, demand from aviation market was huge; the Company continuously improved its operating abilities; as market organisation and support during the Spring Festival travel season were strong, both the flight capacity and the number of passengers carried during the Spring Festival travel season reached a historical new high.
