(d) Election of a New Director

On August 26, 2008, effective September 3, 2008, the Board of Directors of Merriman Curhan Ford Group, Inc. appointed Jeff Soinski, by unanimous electronic written consent, as a director of the Company. There were no arrangements between Mr. Soinski and any other persons regarding Mr. Soinski’s selection as a director, and there are no applicable transactions between Mr. Soinski and the Company under Regulation S-K Item 404(a). Mr. Soinski will not initially serve on any committees of the Board.
