Vale informs the completion of the delisting of HDRs on the HKEx

 

Rio de Janeiro, July 27th, 2016 — Vale S.A. (Vale) informs that the process of delisting of its Vale HDR program on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx), announced by Vale on April 27, 2016, became effective at 9am (Hong Kong time) on July 28, 2016. The HDR certificates were no longer valid as of June 30, 2016 (after 4:30pm Kong Kong time) and were automatically cancelled.

 

The delisting of the HDRs is in line with Vale’s simplification strategy.
