Longtime Kroger employee fired after thwarting shoplifter files lawsuit against grocery chain

Beverly Bennett of Michigan worked at a Kroger store for more than three decades. She filed a lawsuit against the grocery chain for her firing, which came after she thwarted a shoplifter attempting to steal a cart full of alcohol.
