It’s what we trust in but don’t see that keeps us going.” Vince encourages listeners to see with the eyes of their soul, rather than trust their physical senses. In the hour-long video, Vince talks about the need to speak one’s faith, aside from just believing in it. It is the act of verbally expressing faith that a person can feel it most in their heart. Vince goes over many Bible verses about trusting God, specifically those that encourage believers to remain faithful even in difficult times.
Vince says the surest way to please God is to constantly believe in Him. In the video, Vince mentions that even if one is “alive”, in terms of their physical functions, a person can live in fear and despair without faith. He quotes Hebrews 11:6 and says, “And without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”
He insists that understanding this may be easier said than done, particularly given the current world climate. However, Vince is certain that true servants of the Lord will find solace in scripture. He explains that God has laid all His messages in the Bible, and believers simply have to find the right verse to strengthen their faith.
Vince Baker first met God when he was 17. Since then, he has dedicated his life to the Lord and became a Christian. During this time, he was introduced to the works of Smith Wigglesworth, a well-known working evangelist. Vince believes God used His testimony to prepare him for ministry.
