About the Author

The stories for the book were written by children at the Winchelsea and Chestnut Street Primary Schools in Ruskington. Over 100 stories were created, then 20 were hand-selected by the children’s author, Joyce Dunbar. Russell Turner is the talented graphic artist who drew all the illustrations; and Debra Wadsley had the original idea for the bell characters as part of a campaign to raise funds to restore the six bells in the bell tower of All Saints’ church, Ruskington in Lincolnshire.
