Hawthorne, NJ - With Valentines Day coming up The Other Tales Escape Rooms launches a new offer which allows anybody to have a customized escape room experience. Escape rooms are great for many different occasions. People come in to celebrate a birthday, hang out with friends or just spend time with their family. Now there is one more reason to come - The Other Tales encourages the players to use an escape room in a unique way to tell their own life or love story.
At The Other Tales there is always a story behind the game. In each of their three escape room games as the players solve puzzles, they realize they are part of the story. Now, The Other Tales takes it one step further and allows their players to write their own story into the games. The players select the game, tell which event in their life they want to highlight and the design team at The Other Tales adds special props, clues and story to intertwine real life with the events in the game.
“Over the years we’ve had many anniversaries and engagements celebrated at our escape rooms. It’s always an honor to be part of such important moments in our players’ lifes. We thought a lot about how we can make such events even more special and came up with our customized escape room experience. Among the first few custom events we had a highly memorable special 25th anniversary for a lovely couple. It was such joy to see their faces of surprise, wonder and happiness as they slowly realized that part of the story in the game they are playing is about them.” - says Alona Umansky, one of the co-founders of The Other Tales.
For a customized escape room experience The Other Tales team needs a list of special events, a couple of photographs and the reason for the occasion. The team will recommend the game and create a special escape room experience within it. There are three games to select from: Amazing Adventure Society - an adventure game set in the early 1900’s, The Anomaly - a science fiction game of fixing the link to a parallel world, and Once Upon a Winter - a fairy tale game inspired by Brothers Grimm’s fairy tales.
The Other Tales Escape Rooms is a family-owned company created by Alona Umansky and Aleksey Linetskiy of Fair Lawn, NJ. For more than 6 years their escape room center brings families and friends together for some unplugged family fun. Alona and Aleksey love solving puzzles as much as they love making them.
