In the newly created role, Parker-Wallace will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the company’s existing portfolio in the region and help EQ Office establish and expand its presence, with an initial focus on Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, and Raleigh/Durham.
EQ’s current portfolio in the region includes: Anthem I & II, a fully-leased technology hub in Midtown Atlanta; 1020 Spring, a ground-up development with Portman Holdings also in Midtown Atlanta; 3 Ravinia, in the Central Perimeter; and Fifth Third Center, a Class A office tower located at the epicenter of Nashville's Central Business District.
“Sara’s deep relationships and knowledge of the Southeast will help position EQ for long-term growth and success in the region,” said Alex Vouvalides, Chief Executive Officer at EQ Office. “The significant in-migration of talent over the past several years makes it rich for organizations to establish an office presence in these markets. Having Sara as our local, boots on the ground representative will help drive our company strategy and help ensure we are delivering best-in-class service to our customer and partners.”
Wallace most recently served as an Associate Vice President of investments at CIM Group, where she led the firm’s real estate equity investment sourcing in the region, working on such notable developments as Centennial Yards, a large master development in downtown Atlanta. Prior to that, she was involved in acquisitions at Exeter Property Group and held multiple roles in business and financial consulting at several firms, including Parthenon, the global strategy consulting arm of Ernst & Young.
“I'm excited to join a company that has such an outstanding team and strong platform,” said Parker-Wallace. “EQ Office is well equipped to continue to lead the industry with best-in-class office assets in high-quality locations. My experience investing over the years in the Southeast and relationships with local owners and brokers will help us deliver inspiring workplace environments to our tenants in this dynamic region.”
