Banks Present Beyond Careers with $6K Grant to Offset Operational Costs

1:30 p.m. Monday, July 19; 2440 Texas Parkway, Ste. 102, Missouri City, Texas

Hancock Whitney and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $6,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Beyond Careers, a nonprofit organization that provides free tax preparation to low- and moderate-income households. The grant will be used to support the organization’s operational and administrative activities.

The media is encouraged to join local dignitaries and bank representatives for a check presentation at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 19, at Wells Fargo Building, 2440 Texas Parkway, Ste. 102, Missouri City, Texas.

The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions like Hancock Whitney to contribute $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization, which FHLB Dallas matches at a 3:1 ratio.
