Morin announces the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for the novel, perfect for fans of Terry Pratchett or The Princess Bride.

A feast of humor and epic adventure, the novel is set in a world where the gods of the Pantryon bestow mighty gifts of food magic on their guilds, including Cheese Wizards, Muffin Mages, Bacon Masters, and more.
Rasher Dilskin, the protagonist, is a bacon master who can channel the awesomeness of bacon for superhuman enhancements. Unfortunately, he has one weakness--he faints at the sight of blood.
Rasher only wants to build a successful career and win permission to marry his true love, the daughter of a high nobleman. But his plans are foiled when the empire is invaded by ravening hordes of magical monsters who threaten to destroy their civilization.
Rasher is appointed captain of a small team of elite warriors tasked with leading the legions against the hordes. His team have their own issues, and no one believes they can save breakfast, let alone the empire.
Bacon Master of the Apocalypse drops Rasher and his team into a boiling pot of danger, political intrigue, and epic food fights that will keep readers glued to every page while feasting on all their favorite desserts.

The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to create a gorgeous leather hardcover edition. The exclusive edition is available at the $100 backer level. The campaign ends April 15.
Morin's background is in computer programming. He has been releasing books for 7 years, with 15 titles to date, including the popular epic fantasy Set in Stone. He started Whipsaw Press as an indie author.
