Child Drugging Epidemic Highlighted in Unique Exhibit Documenting Human Rights Abuses

CCHR Traveling Exhibit made a 9-day stop at the end of February and did a stop in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd.

PASADENA, CA, March 10, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The exhibit, from the non-profit Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) offered the history of abuses in the field of psychiatry. It toured visitors through the graphic panels and the video excerpts of the documentary, Psychiatry: An Industry of Death.

Public touring the exhibit were impressed with the data and found it very informative. The panels depict the history of false science claiming "Man is an Animal" and could be treated as such, through the brutal treatments that ensued, such as lobotomies and electro convulsive treatment (ECT), to the current era of massive drugging of populations with psychotropic drugs.

The opening of the exhibit featured guest speaker, Ms. Diane Lewis, a 40- year veteran special education teacher in LAUSD. She stated, "Our Education System is in trouble. I'm very concerned for the children and the education they are getting. Too many children are coming in who had a label of ADHD or another psychiatric label. I could not teach them when they are on the drugs. Kids are coming to school with so many problems and trauma, but current programs in our schools are not dealing with these problems, just drug them. Children deserve better."

The graphic panels that were most impactful to the public were on the drugging of school children, with over 20 million children on these mind-altering drugs. This has resulted in the epidemic of violence and suicides among those young people taking these psychotropic drugs. The drastic rise in school shootings has been traced directly to the use of psychiatric drugs by the perpetrators of these horrific crimes. The latest documentary from CCHR, Prescription for Violence, was available for free to interested visitors and documents this horror.

The real eye-opener in the exhibit is the facts that, with the billions of dollars spent every year on psychiatric treatments, the Psychiatric Industry offers zero cures. Left in their wake is what we find as a plague in every city in the United States; drug addiction, homelessness, incarceration in mental institutions, and grief.

This CCHR travels through major cities in the Western United States and issues the warning to parents and community members that psychiatric treatments kill. There are 14 identical traveling Exhibits in countries all over the world.
