Franchise owner John Smego and General Manager Nick Tabor will lead the Brookfield College HUNKS team in serving the city's neighboring areas with helpful, high-quality moving and junk removal solutions. Prior to College HUNKS, Smego served in the U.S. Navy. He enlisted at 18 years old, so he could attend college and focus on electronics. He went on to attend Southern Illinois University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Systems Technology. He worked in the medical industry, having dedicated 16 years at the same company and ended with a position performing field service on life support equipment.
"During my years performing field service, I was always told to treat it like my own franchise. With my dedication to customers and developing relationships with clients, I knew I could do more. So, I left a stagnated position without the possibility of upward movement to follow the ambition that led me to get my M.B.A. That has since propelled me into business ownership," said John Smego, Owner of the Brookfield College HUNKS. "My decision to join College HUNKS may have stemmed from being close with my grandparents. My grandmother taught me to host and do for others.
