Item 8.01 Other Events

On February 4, 2016, First Financial Northwest, Inc. (the “Company”), the parent company of First Financial Northwest Bank (“Bank”), issued a press release announcing that effective February 4, 2016 the Bank had completed the previously announced change of its charter from a Washington chartered stock savings bank to a Washington chartered commercial bank.  The news release announcing the charter change is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
