On September 29, 2016, bluebird bio, Inc. and Medigene Immunotherapies GmbH, a wholly owned affiliate of Medigene AG, issued a joint press release announcing that the parties have entered into a strategic research collaboration and licensing agreement to research, develop and commercialize T cell receptor immunotherapies against four undisclosed targets.
