OVERSEAS REGULATORY ANNOUNCEMENT SHANXI DONGSHAN GAS TURBINE PROJECT OBTAINED APPROVAL
The announcement is issued pursuant to Rule 13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Huaneng Power International Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Shanxi Huaneng Dongshan Gas Turbine Project (which is wholly-owned by the Company) recently obtained the approval from the Development and Reform Commission of Shanxi Province.
Dongshan Gas Turbine Project plans to construct a set of “Two-on-One” F-class gas turbine-steam combined cycle co-generation unit with total planned installed capacity of 859MW. The total investment is estimated to be RMB3 billion, 20% of which will be its capital to be provided by the Company’s internal fund, and the remaining investment will be financed by bank loans.
