On December 21, 2004, Vicuron Pharmaceuticals Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has submitted a New Drug Application (“NDA”) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) for dalbavancin, a novel antibiotic for the treatment of complicated skin and soft tissue infections. A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
