Section 8 – Other Events
Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 1, 2017, Aetna Inc. completed the previously disclosed sale of its domestic group life insurance, group disability insurance and absence management businesses to Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company for cash consideration of $1.45 billion.
