Vale updates on lawsuits
Rio de Janeiro, January 31st, 2019 Vale S.A. (Vale) informs that it was notified on this date, that the Judge of the 5th Labor Court reviewed the decision issued by the judge on duty, regarding the Public Civil Action filed by the Public Ministry of Labor (as per the Vale informs on injunction and class actions complaints press release, published on January 29th, 2019), and decided to increase the value of the freezing to R$ 1.6 billion. Along with this amount, there are R$ 11.0 billion in requests for freezing on Vales bank accounts (as per the Vale reports on injunctions and imposition of administrative sanctions press release, published on January 27th, 2019).
