On November 15, 2002, The Seibels Bruce Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had completed a transaction with The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (“The Hartford”) under which The Hartford acquired the right to renew or assume all of the Company’s in-force National Flood Insurance Program business written under the Write Your Own Program. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.
