Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure

On May 21, 2008, Thunder Mountain Gold, Inc. (the "Company") released on its website http://www.thundermountaingold.com, a report titled  “Resource Data Evaluation, South Mountain Property, South Mountain Mining District, Owyhee County Idaho” as  prepared by Kleinfelder West, Inc., of Boise Idaho. The Report reviews geological and mineral data for the South Mountain Mine owned by South Mountain Mines, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Thunder Mountain Resources, Inc. Thunder Mountain Resources is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.

Item 8.01 Other Events

On May 21, 2008, the Registrant disseminated a release announcing a report prepared by Kleinfelder West, Inc., of Boise Idaho, relating to the South Mountain Mine.  A copy of the release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
